Die Wände werden wieder weiß. Nach dem opulenten Tagestext von Daniela Weber nun ans andere Ende der Welt:
Die in Berlin lebenden Australier Lauren Moffatt und Garth Gregory geraten im Kulturpalast in einen multimedialen Dialog. Zeichnung, Zeichentrick, Skulptur und Gefundenes. Zwei Installationen sprechen zueinander.
Während Garth Gregory, wie ein Konstrukteur, gezeichnete Alltagsszenerien zu ausgelassenen Wandinstallationen verbaut, beobachtet Lauren Moffatt den Menschen am ungewöhnlichen Ort. Ihre ruhigen Betrachtungen erzählen vom Spektakel des Zusammentreffens.
Den Kulturpalast bereichern Garth Gregory und Lauren Moffatt um eine ausufernde Erzählung, die durch die Ungleichheit der Geschwindigkeiten und das Aufeinandertreffen von statischen und temporären Medien Fahrt aufnimmt.

The Australians Lauren Moffatt and Garth Gregory get in Kulturpalast in a multimedia dialog. Drawing, video, sculpture and found objects. Two installations speak to each other.
While Garth Gregory, like a constructor, drawn everyday sceneries for opulently wall installations obstructs, Lauren Moffatt observes the person at the unusual place. Their quiet considerations tell about the spectacle of the meeting.
By placing their works in dialogue with one another, both create a narrative based on mismatched tempos and the friction between static and time based media.

Daniela Weber begab sich für 10 Tage in die Räume des Kulturpalastes und entwickelte ein begehbares Tagbuch. Obwohl nur als gewöhnliche Alltagsbeschreibung daherkommend, nähert sie sich schreibend der Idee eines Meta-Tages, als Verschmelzung aller Tage. Dieser besonders lange Tag findet am Freitag sein Ende in einer Finissage. Lasst uns feiern.

Daniela Weber worked for 10 days in the rooms of the Kulturpalast and developed a day book. Although only coming along as a usual everyday description, she developed an idea of one Meta day, as a fusion of all days. This especially long day finds his end in a Finissage on Friday. Let`s celebrate.
